Doggy Boot Camp Obedience Training

Once your Dog is at our Boot Camp, owners are invited to come and visit after the first or second week of training to see their Dog's progress. Here at Russell's K9 Academy, we train owners on the skills their Dog has learned each week so the owners are not left in limbo when the Dog goes home after completing their Boot Camp Training. The other reason we train the Dog's owner is that we want the Dog to trust and respect their owners as their Benevolent Alpha Pack Leader. That's right; we teach you to follow through with the training so your Dog will trust you and respect you as their Benevolent Hierarchy.

Our Boot Camp dogs are trained in Verbal Markers to enforce Classical Conditioning and Four Levels of Operant Conditioning: Positive Reinforcement, Positive Punishment, Negative Reinforcement, and Negative Punishment. When our dogs in basic obedience training know their leash work and all their commands and verbal markers in our foundation training work, they are put in our e-collar training programs for advanced Off-leash Obedience training to complete their training to perfection. We will train you the perfect Dog to mimic your everyday lifestyle because they are family for life.

Your Dog must be up to date on vaccines, provide a record of vaccines taken, have a clean bill of health, and have a regular vet for emergency contacts.
